Applications:
The source describes EGDA as an efficient, safe, nontoxic organic solvent. It is widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and as an organic-ester curing agent for foundry resins. It is also a solvent for many organic resins, especially nitrocellulose, and a raw material for leather polishes. In paints and coatings it is used as a solvent in nitrocellulose spray paints, printing inks, cellulose esters and fluorescent coatings.

Storage and transport: Because it hydrolyzes readily, keep it sealed and protected from water, flames, heat, moisture, sunlight and rain. Store and transport in a cool, dry place.
