Use:
It is mainly used as a high-boiling solvent for printing ink, dyes, resins, cellulose and coatings, which can be easily flowed, brushed and leveled when added to coatings. It can be used as an extractant for hydrocarbons, an intermediate for preparing ester derivatives in organic synthesis industry, and an intermediate for automobile brake fluid, chemical reagents in analytical chemistry, and organic synthesis of medicines and pesticides.
